Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Pledge at GGA Dwarf Goat Yoga

As the CEO of GGA Dwarf Goat Yoga, I am committed to championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in every facet of our organization. We pride ourselves on being a 100% minority-owned company, focused on enriching the lives of our community through the unique blend of animal-assisted therapy and yoga.

Our Commitment

Our mission is not just about promoting mental health and well-being; it’s also about creating a space where every individual—be it an employee, customer, or partner—feels valued, respected, and heard.

Representation

We celebrate our current staff demographics of 15% white, 54% black, and 31% Asian as a testament to our diverse work environment. Yet, we acknowledge that diversity isn’t a destination but a journey, and we are committed to continually attracting a wider array of talents from different ethnic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and experiences.

Equity

Action Plan

  1. Immediate Training: Mandatory DEI training for all employees within the next quarter.
  2. Transparent Reporting: Annual DEI progress report will be made public to allow our stakeholders to hold us accountable.
  3. Leadership Accountability: Senior management will be responsible for the implementation and oversight of DEI initiatives.
  4. Community Outreach: Strengthen our partnerships with local organizations that align with our DEI goals, including but not limited to mental health advocacy groups, educational institutions, and non-profits focused on social justice.
  5. Inclusive Marketing: We will continue to feature diverse representation in our marketing and promotional materials.

Ongoing Efforts

We will regularly assess our efforts, inviting third-party evaluations and conducting internal surveys to gauge the effectiveness of our DEI initiatives.
